Days of Long Water

Coinciding with peak river depth on the Timbrel River in late summer, this is the time when the largest timber and ore barges depart Braelin for Alden Port downriver. It is a time when a lot of contracts are paid out, a lot of money changes hands, and a great amount of that money is spent in taverns and on other entertainment.

• Dockside taverns stay open nearly all night.
• Temporary bridges of pontoons are installed for overflow foot traffic upstream of the docks.
• Rivalries between river-folk and teamsters are at their highest.
• The Watch is augmented at the discretion of the Braelin River Warden.
