The Hall of Dragons
History: I have not yet come up with (something to do with tiamat (but not just tiamat))
The hall is eighty feet tall, thirty feet wide, and two hundred forty feet long on the exterior. The "roof" of the structure is domed and ribbed. On one side of the semi-circular prism lies a great set of double doors which is eternally ajar. The structure and all it contains is constructed of a grey metallic stone. The interior is 1.1 times as large as the exterior structure would betray. The hall is an ever varying length within. The interior of the hall is flanked by a row of pillars on each side. The pillars rise up, simple cylinders, to the vaulted ceiling. Every pillar has a great protrusion near the top. Said protrusion is carven to represent the lifelike head and neck of a chromatic dragon. The distribution of dragon types among the pillars is seemingly random. At the end of the hall the space widens ever so slightly into a chambre. This cambre has great stained glass windows (not on the exterior of the structure) at each side and a wall carven with a likeness of flame adorns the far wall. Through the windows shines a strange, intense, brilliant light. The chromatic, patterned light cast by/through the windows dances like flame.
The hall is the house of the black dragon gauntlets. It is to this place that they will always, ever mysteriously, return. Each individual seeking to attain the gauntlets has various trials and tribulations he/she must face.
