Elf
Elves begin life without displaying their subrace. Elves who further specialize into this subrace-less state are called soovir. They are effectively humans but better in most respects. For elves who do not mature into soovir they slowly develop the traits associated with their subrace over the course of their adolescence, fully manifesting them once they reach adulthood. Although it is preternaturally rare, an elf of a differing subrace from their parents can be born.
