Chapter 3: Love Blossoms in Helos

The nephilkin, Mykiel, aproaches the figure reclining on the shore. As he approaches the horned creature shifts into a beautiful seductress. He has encountered a succubus. The succubus beckons him closer but he knows enough to stay away. He begins wandering the wastes, avoiding the daemons crawling about the crags.   He soon bores of his walk and returns to the pool. He sneaks up on the succubus, who still lounges in the naturally forming stone beach chair, and attacks her with his bow. The arrow flies true and strikes her through the heart. The blow would be fatal for a normal creature but the fiend has strange anatomy. Once he has engaged her in combat he finds himself woefully under-prepared. She, with a few arrow wounds, slips behind his defenses and attempts to magically charm him. Mykiel is unaffected and retaliates. He charms her in turn. Despite the non-arcane nature of his flirting, he manages to completely enthrall her.   Mykiel, flabbergasted and characteristically unquestioning, rolls with it and initiates an outing with the fiend. They board a gondola navigating the river Birch. The gondolier takes them to a nearby cave which has a couple restaurants in it. The pair heads to Sooubway. At the dingy establishment they awkwardly trade information, small talk, and jokes. The succubus' name is Honey Fyrwed.
