Yawron King

The King or Queen of Yawron is the supreme power in the Kingdom of Yawron. All Kings and Queens live and stay in the King's Castle in Yawron City.

Qualifications

Kings and Queens aren't elected in an official election as usually, Rulers arise in times of struggle - usually in times when the ruler is not fit for ruling and so has to be overthrown. Often a King is followed by their own child and this can go on for many generations without any elections, but if the ruler and their rule is not liked by the people, a new ruler rises - almost always someone who was capable of getting most of the people to come together against the king.

Duties

A king is required and expected by the people to rule fairly, no matter their class. This is why Kings and Queens have lords who rule the villages of Yawron outside of Yawron City. These Lords report to the King to report what occurs in their villages. The king also has a Harbourmaster who is the community leader of the Harbour District in Yawron City, who is someone who the citizens of the Harbour Disctrict can talk to. Then the Harbourmaster can report to the King and have them fix the situation if there is one.

Equates to

The rank equates to most other Kings around the continent, for example: The King of Malesurej, King of Aidin, King of Adanaac. It also equates to the Ravoroth Clan Dragon Lord.

Length of Term

A king rules until retirement or until they pass away. Or if they choose to resign or are forcibly resigned.
