An expat from Bastion, Kowalski doesn't talk much about her past. She caught The Grey Plague as a young girl but was saved by the cure just in time, losing her legs but not her life. After learning to walk again, she travelled the world studying medicine in Alder-Kaers before settling in Eterna.
