Tower of Bolot
The Tower of Bolot is a ruin located in the town of Malkara, in the south of theĀ Surcounty of Kilncross by the banks of the Yarrow river. The tower in its current state is half as tall as it originally stood, thought to have been destroyed in an earthquake, the stonework of the upper half still strewn about the modern town. However, even in ruin, the tower is impressively tall, the craftsmanship and still visible in the masonry despite the vast majority of jewels and precious metals that once adorned it having been repurposed. The tower dates back to the founding of the Kingdom of Bolot by the ardic tribes that had migrated south, it is imagined the tower was intended to demonstrate the power and will of the new kingdom and to quell any unrest from the minor tribes that had been incorporated into the new kingdom. The tower is considered one of the Wonders of the Central Kingdoms.
