Temple of the Dead - Tomb of Turmoniin

The Temple of the Dead, which is also said to include the Tomb of Turmoniin, is a great temple located within the city of Halfsburgh as a part of the citadel complex. The tomb is widely known as a place of great beauty, built on the first tier of the citadel upon the royal crag, the temple is a grand structure of black and red stone, encrusted with jewels and glazed brickwork. The inside of the temple is perhaps the most overwhelming display of gold in the known world, great pillars lined with gold hold up the grand structure, a great coffin in the centre is encrusted with precious metal and gemstones and as tall as two men. An apse at the back of the temple, where the structure meets the natural formation of the crag, a great altar to the god Mukko is erected in red marble of Mukko in his agape form atop a polished stone carved from the rock.
