Silk

Silk is a textile of fine quality that is highly sought after by those of high status or comfortable wealth. Silk is used for all manners of clothing, whether as the primary material or as a supplementary textile or even lace, its shiny appearance shall dazzle any onlooker and impress those whom its wearer desires. The origins of silk lie within the silkworms that feed on the leaves of the Lormberry Trees that are common in the warm climates of Volnia and Breuic. The cocoons of these silkworms provide the fibres from which silk is made, these fibres can then be spun into the lustrous material which can be found in the inventories of mercers and kings alike in all the corners of the known world.
