Pewter

Pewter is a metal of great significance to most societies across Tuono's Corpse, its widespread use as the base metal of utensils, dishes, basins and various other household goods makes it one of the more common materials one would find in the average person's household. Pewter is comprised of tin alloyed with a small amount of copper and/or lead, creating a stronger alloy with the distinctive silver/blue sheen. Folk are particularly fond of pewter due to its low cost and the ease at which it may be worked, due to the alloys low melting point, it can be easily cast in clay, stone or bronze moulds. The moulded pieces can then be soldered together and the products finished up on a lathe.
