Jala

Jala is the prominent god of the sky and wind within the Hallowed Faith. He is often portrayed as a strong and heroic warrior and is perhaps the most worshipped god of the Hallowed Faith, with some divisions of the faith believing that Jala himself is the patriarch god rather than Tuono. Jala was the firstborn god of the Alkutari and was especially gifted as a creator and produced many offspring gods to himself, in many ways in competition with his sister Aimo who is regarded as the most gifted creator of the gods. Jala has many purposes within the Hallowed faith, regarded as the keeper of the godly realm, the blue sky a great barrier used by the gods to separate their realm from that of man, Jala being responsible for maintaining it. He was also responsible for killing his brother, Korpo, having deemed him guilty of incestuous relations with their sister, Kasta. At night, it is believed that Jala parades his achievements in the sky, the moons displayed in the sky on the black background of Dartavoss and the souls of man. Jala was the one who suggested that the human race may be capable of killing Dartavoss and as such lays claim to the serpent's corpse and he is responsible for ensuring that the body of Dartavoss may never be reinhabited by the demon.
