Emperor Rewarhry "Knife-Tongue"
Rewarhy Rutharon, the first emperor of the central kingdoms, was born into the wealthy Rutharon family in the Kingdom of Durabryn. His father, Alnwic Rutharon, would lead a successful deposition of the King of Durabryn, Reoran Edhlehard whose deference to the Hallowed Church had sown deep rifts amongst the nobility. As King, Alnwic was a centralising figure and was among the most influential in the council of the Confederacy, often insisting Durabryn be followed in its example by the other members. He improved diplomatic relations wherever possible, notably by brokering the marriage of his younger brother to the daughter of the Sarbrynian King's daughter. Rewarhy would spend a great deal of his childhood travelling between th courts of his uncle in Sarbrynia and that led by his mother at the ancestral seat of the Rutharons, Eorwenbury.
