Anttegra

The city of Anttegra is located in the south-western provinces of the Grand Duchy of Canyndor where it lies on the shore of Lake Tegra in the Surcounty of Ilkweir. It sits prominently on a peninsula that protrudes out into the lake centrally, giving it a superb location from which to operate as a port of the region. The city itself was formed around the old Tegra castle which sits at the edge of the peninsula, a curtain wall surrounding the land adjacent to the castle is home to the port of the city and home to several thousand of its inhabitants. Outside of the city walls are more loosely laid streets and houses that sit upon makeshift market squares where many events and festivals are held. Those who live outwith the walls of the city might be more vulnerable to attack, however, even the extremities are protected by a series of ancient earthworks, great ridges that run the breadth of the peninsula, said to date back at least to the settlement of the region by Ardic tribes, likely made by those who once dominated the region.
