Revelade

The continent of Revelade is largely made up of separate cities with stretches of wild forests between them, however among these is an invading empire known as the Drakelon, led by a group of evil dragonborn whose army is made up almost entirely of sorcerers and wizards. They came from across the great sea in force and managed to take much of the western half of Revelade before being beaten back at the balgan sea. in the 30 years since then they have ceased operations to invade the rest of Revelade and begun fortifying the cities they took over, as well as building walls between the outermost ones on the shore of the Balgan penninsula. In response to this, the cities rushed to defend against the inevitable second wave. In lieu of the chaos, an airship captain named Copperhand managed to negotiate alliances with crucial nobility and turn the once wretched slum of Revael into a thriving metropolis due to his spearheading of many new technological advancements, chiefly the construction of a large Sky-Port to bring trade to the city. Despite the relative peace of the last 30 years, rumors have been circulating about the appearance of Drakelon raiding parties and scout ships, suggesting that the tenuous peace would soon be at an end.
