Marlerose (Mar-ul-rose)
A Marlerose is a light pink flower which seems to grow wherever it pleases, each plant bearing a single flower on one stem. It exudes a scent that seems to be reminiscent of a pleasant memory from one's past. It lasts for about a week and a half after being plucked, no matter what attempts (magical and non-magical) are made to preserve it, but it can be distilled into wine or infused into tea with much the same effect as the normal flower (stronger in the case of wine), and it is edible. It is a symbol of love in Revelade, and is often given as a gift between romantic partners, but it also symbolizes platonic love.
