Brimwough (Brim- Woh)
Brimwough is both the capital and largest city of Praetum, by size and population. It was one of the first settled cities in the Golem Basin and quickly became a hub of trade in the region. When Thulidea fell, its long-failing capital was abandoned and instead, the Primarchy chose this bustling metropolis as its leading city. Despite being nestled on a handful of low-sloping hills central to a large plain, its walls have withstood many dire sieges by enemies of all regions of Retough. The central keep that houses the Grand Primarch and Penn Archon is known as Solace Castle and houses its own garrison of almost army-strength. Solace Castle is also where most Praetian soldiers train before becoming a member of one of the many armies hosted by the Primarchy.
