"Up both ends"
Hold up your dominant hand with the palm towards yourself. Extend your pointer finger and pinky finger, with the ring and middle fingers curled into the palm and the thumb.
This gesture is vulgar expression, symbolizing the person being given the gesture as if to say,
"Take one up both ends"
Which needs no further explanation, save for it always having meant this same thing from it's first use in the early sixteen-hundreds. It is customary to accompany this hand gesture with a scowl or other disapproving look on the face, to further send the gesture home to the receiver.
