Mirasha Quickwhisper

Written accounts credit the Felia explorer Mirasha Quickwhisper with the first documented sighting of what would later prove to be draconic eggs. In Year 1305, while spelunking deep beneath the mountains near Amber Cliffs, Mirasha stumbled upon a hidden chamber teeming with ancient relics—among them, a cluster of inert, stone-like ovoids.   Mirasha’s personal notes, collectively referred to as the Quickwhisper Papers, describe the eggs as “peculiar fossils, bearing faint arcane traces.” Initially thinking they might belong to some extinct avian lineage, she meticulously cataloged their placement and structure without grasping their colossal significance. Her papers circulated among curious Beastkin scholars, but the find quickly faded from mainstream attention.   History’s Irony: Centuries later, in Year 3280, these very eggs hatched en masse, unleashing a draconic might that eclipsed all prior horrors. The resulting Dragon Empire toppled major Beastkin powers and enslaved entire regions. In the aftermath, many a frustrated soul cursed Mirasha Quickwhisper’s name—pointing to her diaries as the earliest, if unwitting, evidence that dragons lay dormant beneath the earth, waiting to reshape the world.
