Vaelithar

the Vaelithar - seekers of Elenatharë

The cult of Galldar wood elves searching for Elenatharë is called the "Vaelithar." This name carries the sense of ancient purpose and sacred duty, combining "Vae," evoking "watchers" or "seekers," with "lithar," reminiscent of old Sindarin roots for "light" or "path." The Vaelithar see themselves as the rightful heirs and protectors of the lost Thalendriel tribe’s legacy, bound by oath to rediscover the vanished sanctuary and restore the ancient bridge between Feywild and Dunia.

Their charismatic leader is Liorandril the Starweaver, a tall, graceful elf cloaked in shimmering blues and silvers, his presence glowing faintly with fey magic. Liorandril is a master of both arcane lore and woodcraft, revered for his wisdom and fierce determination. He speaks with the conviction of one who has glimpsed the enclave’s radiant mysteries in his visions and carries the weight of his people's hopes on his shoulders.

The Vaelithar journey the Firelands tirelessly, deciphering ancient runes and listening to the whispers of the woods, all while facing dangers from lingering shadows of the Giants and orcs, as well as darker, more elusive threats tied to the dark elves’ time-breaking deeds. Their faith and resolve inspire many, but their obsession with reclaiming Elenatharë also stirs whispers of fanaticism among allies and foes alike.
