Kaelric Drenn

Kaelric “Hound’s-Eye” Drenn is a shadow cast long and lean against the Rusty Boot’s porch post, a figure who seems part ghost, part predator. He’s tall, all angles and sinew, with a face sharp-edged like a wolf’s muzzle, pale gray eyes that flicker just enough to unsettle without revealing a thought. He doesn’t blink much, as if conserving secrets, his gaze drifting over the room like an animal scenting the air for danger. His thick sideburns climb steeply toward sharp cheekbones, framing a low voice that rumbles with the weight of unspoken menace—each word a quiet threat.

Kaelric wears a long duster the color of twilight, buttoned tight to his throat, with boots scuffed from miles of unseen trails. Slung over one shoulder rests a heavy recurve bow, its long black-shafted arrows nestled close like silent hunters, ever ready. A hunting knife carved from bone hangs loose at his belt, hinting at a lifeway far harsher than most here could reckon.

Among the folk of Blood Ax and across the Firelands frontier, Kaelric is known as a bounty hunter with a ruthless skill—one who works alone and vanishes like smoke when the work’s done. He has a reputation for knowing the silent paths that lead to death or freedom, always one step ahead where others falter. Rumors brush against him like the wind, but none know his true nature, and Kaelric keeps it that way—his past locked away deeper even than the shadows he walks in.

When he drifts into the Rusty Boot, it’s with a careful watchfulness, nursing his liquor in solitude while tracing lines across weathered maps no one else bothers. Only the sharpest eyes might notice the fleeting flash in his pale eyes, like a darker secret stirring beneath the surface, or the subtle twitch of his nostrils catching a scent they choose not to name.
