The Giant Scorpion is a massive arachnid infamous for its aggressive nature and deadly venom. With a dark, chitinous exoskeleton and intimidating pincers, this beast is adapted for hunting in harsh environments such as deserts and subterranean realms. Its formidable size is matched by swift movement and a powerful tail, which it curves over its back, ready to strike with a venom-laced stinger.

Physical Description
Giant scorpions typically measure up to eight feet long, dwarfing most humanoids. Their bodies are covered in tough, glossy armor that not only protects them but also enhances their menacing appearance. They scuttle across the terrain on eight spindly legs and wield two massive claws (pedipalps), both capable of grappling and crushing their prey. The segmented tail, ending in a venomous stinger, is their most iconic weapon.

Combat Behavior
These predators are highly aggressive, attacking any creature that enters their domain. In battle, a giant scorpion employs its claws to seize and immobilize targets, making escape difficult. Once grappled, victims are exposed to the devastating sting, which delivers potent poison capable of incapacitating even seasoned adventurers. The giant scorpion can make a multiattack: two with its claws and one with its sting. Its poison requires a Constitution saving throw; failure results in heavy poison damage.
