Grave Knights Joke from Darkroot, they have coffin lids as shields and wield shovels. They also can dig really fast. When defeated they turn into lootable coffins.
They're not specifically good or evil, but they serve someone intent on keeping the graveyard pure.
Personally just interested in their design of using a coffin lid as a tower shield and shovels as main weapons

Definitely want a 'lantern knight', who fights with a shield with space for an armored gauntlet to hold a lantern, often wielding a shovel in the other hand.
