Blood Resort Crafting
Overview: Jury rig melee weapons to serve the purposes of bashing zombies to death.
Mechanics
Blood Fury/Adrenaline Rush: Fill a meter by killing enemies to enter a rage mode with greatly increased damage and health. Said mode will activate if health reaches zero and the meter is full. EXP is rewarded after the rampage, with a multiplier applying as well.
Supply Runs: In the beginning there are several isolated areas with sought-after supplies. Earn some cash and bonuses by collecting these often heavy supplies and transporting them to a survivor haven of your choice.
Carrying Capacity: I like to gun run. Find a balance between carrying every weapon you can and also not just being a walking armory. Perhaps one can only have a few active weapons at a time. Dismantling weapons into their base components is also an option.
Item Fetch Quests: Some NPCs will reward the players if they gather a certain item for their uses.
As a quality of life feature, with the quest set to active, the items will continue to appear highlighted and/or on the minimap
Weapons
Overview: While some weapons have a broad spectrum, certain weapons only appear at certain rarities.
Blunt
Tribal Club: A club used by the local tribespeople. It is a simple yet effective design, often a shaft with a ball or weight on the end.
Basic Hammer: A Handheld hammer used for basic manual labor and work. Can be carried by Carpenters.
Sledgehammer: A heavy, 2 handed hammer. Not great for long term use, not a battle hammer, but it can be a good weapon for someone to put a lot of force behind.
Stick: A simple stick. Can be a broom handle or baseball bat, or a plank of wood.
Makeshift Pipe: Piping ripped straight out of some plumbing. Sometimes it has makeshift handles, but otherwise, its a rather simple bludgeon. Can be used to repair plumbing.
Sharp
Machete: Decent Blades. Basic cutting tools for all to use.
Fire Axe: Used for breaking down doors and rescuing people during fires. Its well balanced and can be found in fire stashes. It is a great weapon.
Hatchet: Different from a Hand Axe as it has a hammerhead. It is one handed simple weapon.
Sword: Old time fighting weapon. It is long with a blade and a good handle. It is actually built for combat.
Knife: Ranges from concealable stabber, kitchen workhorse, to battle tested combat knife.
Shovel: Bury the dead, why not bury the living? Its a large, flat blade ready to bash someone's head in or give them a nasty cut.
Guns
Long range dealers of death. While zombies tend to only use melee, Human enemies use these often.
Pistol: A handgun with a detachable clip. As a simple, jack of all trade weapon, most human enemies have one.
Revolver: An often weaker version of the Pistol. It has low ammo capacity due to its cylinder design. It is found in some stashes and in pockets. It is a nice sneaky weapon.
Some revolvers fire large, high-powered rounds, perfect for taking on tougher zombies, only held back by the low ammo capacity.
Shotgun: A lot of damage up close, not so much further on. Some might fire slugs, which can do a lot of damage and pierce through zombies.
Flamethrower: Used for clearing jungle and bunkers. Zombies, especially those in large groups, tend to fall quickly to a concentrated blast of flame. It takes flamethrower fuel, which is easy to craft.
Rifle: A long gun, often used for hunting, but also often used by the soldiers. It has good range, high power, and sometimes a lot of ammo.
Flare Gun: Single shot weapon designed to gain attention. Burns incredibly hot so one can easily be shot into a zombie to quickly immolate them. Often found in emergency boat kits.
Submachine Gun: Rapid fire gun. Eats through ammo quickly but certainly shreds through enemies.
Nail Gun: A gun that fires nails that can be retrieved and reused.
Crossbow: A far quieter gun without need of a suppressor. Used crossbow bolts can often be retrieved from targets.
Machine Gun: Often emplaced, but if used on the move, slows the user down a lot. It has a high fire rate, a lot of ammo, and a lot of damage. However, it obviously makes a lot of noise.
Throwables
Fire Bottle: A bottle filled with flammable liquid and a lit rag. When thrown, it easily shatters, spreading flames everywhere in a short period.
Makeshift Explosive: Exactly as it sounds like. Uses electronic scrap and unstable chemicals to make a cheap bomb to throw at zombies.
Grenade: A purpose built throwable explosive. Found in military, police, or criminal stashes. Requires a specific recipe to build.
Incendiary Grenade: For some reason can be refined from fire bottles. Don't ask. It throws more steady and hotter flames around when its thrown.
Exploding Knives: A cheap knife that has short range and low damage can be improved into an explosive. One throws it and when it embeds into the enemy... kaboom!
this is a type of weapon only created by the player.
Mods
Mods are ways to significantly improve a weapon. While there are ways to simply attach certain objects to weapons, mods function as a guide to make the best weapons. When applied, all weapons will have the mod stated first to easily differentiate.
Hammer of Justice: A mod for hammers that gives them incredible electrical damage.
Magic Wand: A catch-all blunt weapons mod that adds high-level electrical damage.
Big Shocker/ Maximum Charge: Using Ultra-batteries, you get maximum charge to hit zombies and fry and toss them in the same swing.
Medieval: A mess of Nails, Bolts, and whatever else added onto a weapon to make it dangerous. Medievally dangerous.

Crafting Components
Crafting Overview: While specified mods do exist, at a workbench the player is encouraged to experiment and mix together items to see effects.
Forging: Perhaps usable at any workbench, requiring a NPC, or even a specific item. Forging allows one to turn like components into each other, such as turning metal scrap into wires, nails, or other metal crafting components. Conversely, if one has an abundance of specialized ingredients, forging can make them into more universal components.
Flares: Best and brightest flame, used for the highest level of flame mods.
Battery: Simple handheld power source. Often used in a lot of electric mods.
Ultra-Battery: Might as well be a power plant in a tiny box. Greatest electrical power source for weapons.
Diamonds: A valuable sellable on its own, though it has greater uses. The main use for Diamonds is to increase a weapon's base stats though either leveling up or moving it up a tier, to the maximum of the highest. Dismantling High tier weapons can net a few diamonds.
Duct Tape: Main way to make these unconventional weapons. Who needs careful engineering when you have a tough tape on hand.
Glue: Probably more for chemical purposes than strictly adhesion.
Lighter Fluid: Probably several variants, all stronger or weaker than the other. Used for flame mods.
