Brainstorming Batfish

  Inspiration: Lakelurks in fallout NV, a crackpot idea where the ones that attacked Camp Guardian somehow turned the NCR Troopers into new Lakelurks.   A Polluted, Buried Lake: Potentially where they come from, but definitely a place they congregate, its a deep body of water mucked up by something.   Former Soldiers and Men: While it started with random unlucky wastelanders, a mass attack on a military outpost swelled their numbers.   While they can reproduce somewhat with eggs, a lot of it is infecting new people and having them change. Maybe Batfish mutants were intended bioweapons or accidentall.   .

  Batfish/ Suhagin: A monster that is part man, part fish, and part bat. It has the large ears of a bat, along with sparse hair and a sonic screech ability of a bat. They are roughly humanoid, standing as tall if not taller than a man. They have fins and partial wings, able to glide through water near effortlessly.   They are former humans, bitten by other Batfish. They mutate slowly but surely, often clad in the tatters of their former selves.   Possibly also called Nosferatu. Born around a lake of sorts. Some of them are mutated humans.
