Material Characteristics
In its raw form, mithral is a silver and black mineral. After forging, it becomes a shining silvery blue.
Physical & Chemical Properties
Mithral can be worked like steel, but items made from mithral are half the weight of equivalent items made from steel. This makes mithral an excellent material for armor, as it causes less encumbrance to the wearer and is less likely to obstruct arcane spellcasting.
