General Physical Condition
A young, muscular man of Puerto Rican descent with long hair.
Special abilities
Carlos can fly with good speed and maneuverability and is able to endure horrific damage, with surviving organs taking up the functions of any parts too damaged to use. His endurance and adaptability also allow him to put more strength behind his blows, as he doesn't have to worry as much about overdoing it and hurting himself.

As Carlos is a parahuman, the unique superpowers above are granted by a shard of an alien entity that has linked itself to his brain.
Apparel & Accessories
Carlos wields an adamantine broadsword and a large shield, and wears red dwarven field plate armor. He is equipped with magic rings of protection against fire and lightning and carries a belt of containment foam and flashbang grenades.

Personal history
Carlos grew up in the city of Brockton Bay in the modern superhero setting of Earth Bet. He gained powers at age 15 and joined the Wards, the government-run team for young parahumans. In 2011 in his world, when he was 17, Nicce intervened in his world's history, semi-accidentally linking it to Renedge. As part of an effort to deal with the resulting problems, Aetheril Vorethil brought the Brockton Bay Wards to Renedge to train up and become capable of dealing with the new magical dangers that faced their world.
Carlos spent three years in Renedge under the mentorship of Senal Romenil, learning the combat style of the crusader. He and his team were subsequently returned to Earth Bet shortly after they left, where they teamed up with Taylor Hebert and the Undersiders to defend their home city from Lolth and a variety of other sudden threats.
Education
Carlos went to modern high school on Earth Bet and was trained in basic law enforcement, combat, and superheroic PR by the Brockton Bay Wards program. He spent three years under Senal Romenil's tutelage on Renedge, learning the "crusader" martial style.
Employment
As of 2011 (on Earth Bet), Carlos is a member of the Brockton Bay Wards.
