Vidič
Magic Incarnate
All of the races were shaped from magic at some point but only the Vidič are still magic in one of its rawest forms. The Vidič are anchors of magical energy with flesh and blood and are for this reason often very talented casters. While they are easy to mistake for humans, the Vidič are a proud people and are highly decisive, some would say stubborn. The Vidič put value in friends, family, and county - often in that order.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Vidič are almost impossible to tell apart from humans if not for a few small but obvious clues. First is the fact that all Vidič have pure white or silvery hair regardless of age. Second, the Vidič all have a rune that glows with magical power on their body. They are born with these runes. The runes let off faint white light at all times. When casting any form of magic, the Vidič's eyes begin to glow brightly as do their runes.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Vidič eyesight is no better than most by default, however, the Vidič can alter their sight magically. When they do so, they can see all manner of magical effects and lingering auras that others can not.

Naming Traditions
While the Vidič have no complex naming conventions, they have a language unlike any other in Reliah. Some common names among the Vidič include Anton, Apostol, Blagun, Boris, Darko, Dragan, Emil, Gavril, Goran, Iliga, Ivan, Kiril, Mitko, Neven, Nikola, Pavel, Rumen, Sasho, and Vasil for males.
For females, common names include Ana, Biljana, Bistra, Dana, Denica, Dzvezda, Elena, Ilina, Irina, Ivona, Jaga, Jasna, Jovanka, Katina, Maja, Mare, Marina, Olgica, Rada, Roza, Sandra, Teodora, and Vana
Beauty Ideals
Vidič prefer to be as clean shaven as possible in regards to facial and body hair. Additionally, the Vidič like to present the rune of their body prominently as it is believed that the runes are the mark of the Vidič's blessings.
Courtship Ideals
Most Vidič court for several years before getting married, often proposing under one or more full moons. When two Vidič get married, or a Vidič and a Human, the friends and family of the two gather in an agreed location and have a massive party that lasts for ten days and ten nights. Each night everyone gets as drunk as they can as they enjoy traditional party games and games of chance.
Common Dress Code
Vidič clothing is often flowing and comfortable to wear above all else. They also like to wear multiple layers of light clothing rather than a single thick layer in colder weather.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
A unique holiday called Kukeri is celebrated by the Vidič once a year during the midwinter. During Kukeri male Vidič dress in intricate and spectacular costumes dance through Vidičian cities to ward off evil spirits. These costumes often look like animalistic monsters with long fur, horns, sharp fangs, and claws. Every costume also has a large leather belt covered in brass or copper bells. Some dancers carry weapons carved from soft wood, moving them vigorously as they dance.
