The Saviours of Neart

The Saviours are an elite, borderline fanatical force formed in Neart to fully eradicate all magic users or to assimilate them. Their ranks are made up of both mundane but highly trained units and magic users that are brain-washed and trained into hunting their kind using special techniques devoloped by the Saviours.    The Saviours conduct routine cataloging and testing of children when they reach the age of 5 utilising a specific tool that tests for innate magical potential. If a child is found to have a magical potential they are given an offer to join the ranks of the saviours or to be terminated.   There used to be an extremely elite unit called purgers who specialized in the extermination of magical beasts. They were however far too efficient in their duty and had to be absolved twenty-seven years ago when the final magical beast of the eastern island was hunted down and slayed. The members of this unit promptly entered retirement but some are rumored to roam other lands unable to mov eon from their former duties.
