The Stormont Gray Fox
House Stormont over multiple generations bred the common fox to be gray in color and more docile. Having a smaller muzzle than its wild kin, this domestic fox is selectively bred and highly sought after. Owning a "Stormont fox" as they are known is a symbol of status, wealth and influence. Each fox must be adopted under very strict rules including the fox having its own servant. Adopted foxes are made sterile and incapable of breeding protecting their lineage. Others have attempted to domesticate foxes to breed a "Stormont fox" with no success. A few minor nobles have even purchased "Stormont foxes" from unreliable merchants only to have the charcoal dust fall off of the imitation fox. Buying any fox except a "Stormont fox" is viewed as a sign of low breeding and intellectual deficiency.
