The Shadowby Wolf

A Shadowby Wolf cannot easily be distinguished from a wild wolf with the exception of the piercing ice blue eyes. It is said in low light conditions one can see the small sapphire glow that reveals the cunning of this animal. A Shadowby wolf has two sigils on its body. The right front paw has the sigil of house Shadowby and the left front paw has the sigil of the house it is gifted to. Only one house has refused the gift of a Shadowby Wolf. House Brewwick has expressed full appreciation of the security provided by house Shadowby's rule and expressed having no need for such a utilitarian pet. Attempts to breed the Shadowby wolf have had no success as all introduced potential mates are violently killed and consumed. The only exception being wolves with sigils of other houses. When placed together they simply ignore the other wolf and continue normalized behavior. There seems to be some unknown hierarchy as if there is any incident the wolves automatically seem to have a chain of command. Shadowby wolves are known for their ability to adapt to situations and provide everything from security to emotional guidance. While they do not speak they seem to know exactly what the owner is saying and what the owner needs.
