Spark Mice
The power of the meek is often one that is underestimated, and although many fear storms they forget to fear the singular elements that can bring ruin to anything they touch.
The Spark Mice are the embodiment of this concept. Small divine animals who are often considered the least favored of Caldros' servants, they are not much to be wary of alone. However, as they gather together, they can release a booming lightning strike wherever they are. Though they are reluctant to do so, preferring the company of those who can still learn their lessons, the Spark Mice have no qualms about showing their wrath to those who truly deserve it.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Looking much like any earthen mouse, the Spark Mice of Xepherypha would be hard to differentiate from their nondivine kin were it not for the spark of intelligence in their eyes and metal-tipped fur. Soft to the touch, these creatures give off sparks of energy wherever they move, almost appearing as miniature balls of lightning when running.
Genetics and Reproduction
Though incapable of conventional reproduction, Spark Mice are crafted from the souls of those who died unfairly during storms and other natural disasters. Benevolent and furious in equal measure, these small divine beings are content to try and save others from their fate while also expressing their wrath at existence with thunderous booms.
Ecology and Habitats
Wingless among Xepherypha's divine denizens, Spark Mice can often be found crouched among the many island trophies that dot the eternal storm keeping an eye on the mortals within. When they wish to travel to new places, they are forced to cast themselves to the wind's mercy, a long and grueling process that can see them flying for years before they land upon another island. As such, it can be a sight to see a multitude of the sparking creatures flying nearby on the hurricane's winds. While on mortal planes, Spark Mice often act as helpers or punishers, helping those who are humble and subject to circumstances beyond their control while punishing those who actively flaunt their control over others.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Primarily found within the winds and island trophies of Xepherypha, these plentiful and small divine beings have been known to exist throughout the mortal planes to varying degrees, including as cast-offs from the passing of the great hurricane that is Xepherypha, as summoned storm familiars, and as gifts to those who Caldros finds limited favor with.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Possessing excellent senses, Spark Mice can smell and hear the advent of any storm coming into an area and thus give adequate warning to Caldros' favored or orienting themselves to deliver the most punishing of lightning strikes to those who have raised his ire.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Generally coming in the color of metallic blue or grey, these divine creatures have been known to appear in a variety of colored metals, including bronze, copper, silver, and gold.
