Moon Sharks

Moon Sharks are found only in the Moon Coral Atoll, often called the Dreamers by sailors their ferocity is legendary, though they rarely act unless directly provoked. These Apex predators have long grey bodies, like their mundane brethren, but fly through the air held aloft by internal magic. Their fins are long like sails, allowing them to twist and turn in the wind. When their tails get them going their is a haunting swishing, almost akin to the flap of hawks wing but with the added crack of their tails snapping in the wind like a whip.   The sharks are most dangerous to those who fly alone, they very rarely attack any on a ship, and tend to keep their distance from larger vessels. Their method of attack is brutal tearing with teeth though some specialize in their attacks with long razor like noses, and specialized whipping tails. The sharks themselves tend to focus on hunting the other flying fish, who can be found most commonly around the Worm Death Caves but do occasionally reign further afield.
