Orc

Orcs are a robust and aggressive humanoid race in Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. Characterized by their powerful builds, prominent tusks, and a penchant for warfare, orcs are often found in tribal societies or serving as soldiers in larger armies. They are commonly depicted with a greenish-gray skin tone, though variations exist. Here are some key characteristics and traits associated with orcs in D&D 5e:

Physical Traits:

Orcs are typically larger and more muscular than humans, with a brutish appearance. They have prominent tusk-like teeth that protrude from their lower jaws. Orc skin tones can range from shades of green to gray or brown. Eyes are often small and beady, and their hair tends to be coarse and dark.

Society and Culture:

Orcs are known for their tribal and warrior-centric societies, where strength and combat prowess are highly valued. Leadership is often determined through displays of physical strength or martial skill. Orcs have a strong martial tradition.

Traits:

Darkvision: Orcs have the ability to see in low light conditions, even complete darkness. Aggressive: As a bonus action, orc characters can move up to their speed toward a hostile creature they can see.

Subraces:

D&D 5e includes different subraces of orcs, such as the more traditional "Orc" and the "Half-Orc," which is a hybrid race with human ancestry.
