Commander of the Red Sunrise Roger the Red (a.k.a. Roger II)

Roger the Red, is named after Roger, who was the Ship's cat of the Sunset Dawn whom wen't down with the ship in the Sinking of the Sunset Dawn. It wasn't intended for the new cat to be named after Roger, but before the Pirate crew could think of a new name, they already got used to naming her Roger, Roger the Red, or Roger II.

As you may understand from the name, Roger II is a red cat. She came onboard as a kitten when the Red Sunrise Visited Pitcairn Island on their first trip with the new pirate ship.

Joining the crew

Roger came onboard as a stowaway. Having crawled into the bag of Rose. The little kitten was only discovered after the Red Sunrise had set sail from Pitcairn. The kitten immediately created chaos by escaping from the captain's cabin, and stealing a whole chicken from the galley.

After that the galley and stores had to remain locked, because Roger the Red assumed all food was there just for her, and she could take anything she wanted. And all other crew members were solely around to answer her wishes.

The Red Sunrise remained at sea for quite a long time, and during that trip it became known that Roger did not like the cold Antarctic Ocean. She vocally complained every time a door was opened and a draft of cold air came trough the space she was hiding at.

When the Red Sunrise dropped anchor in Isolation Bay Roger managed to sneak onboard the boat that went ashore, and sprinted off into the forest. To come back an hour later with a big fat bird in her jaws. Screaming at the crew to have it cooked for her. Chicken had run out for two weeks already.
