Arne Anderson is a Leading Seaman on the Sunset Dawn. Who is also a very good wood worker. Having manufactured several wooden things for the ship, such as a Strongbox.
He came to join the pirate crew just when they started the refit of the Antilope, where his wood and construction skills came to good use. When they set sail, he turned out to be a good and hardworking sailor too who could lead and motivate his mates. So he quickly got up the ranks to Leading Seaman.
Arne regularly suffers from Staggers and jags, but the periods before and after these episodes he's an expert sailor and well liked by the whole crew. And he's a good rifleman too, therefore during pirating actions, he's often in the foremast of the Dawn to send lead weighted direct messages to their prey.
I like the sound of Arne. It's a shame he has periods of suffering, but I love that he is respected in spite of that.

Well... the suffering is self inflicted, if'd just managed to manage his rum intake a bit better. :P Got to have at least one drunk in a pirate crew right?
