"Belling" the Cat

This event refers to The Ghost of Fray  stealing Wildcat Vorskar's claws.   Vorskar would ravage the planet surface; making life dangerous and cheap. He would arrive like a vapor, unseen and undetected, bringing death in his wake. At one of the many war councils, the mice would not agree or commit to a course of action. While the infighting continued, the Ghost of Fray, in all his daring, picked up a radioactive isotope and walked out of the council.   The council continued for several days, with no clear outcome. Right before the chiefs were to leave and return to their respective clans, the Ghost of Fray threwopen the doors to The Great Hall and strode in with a bleeding sack and a bandaged ear. As he threw it on the table, it spilled open to reveal five enourmous claws, wet with blood.   In silence, each of the clan chiefs received one, as a symbol of unity and hope.   In the immediate aftermath of these events, the mice were able to detect Vorskar before he arrived. Vorskar would find abandoned sites, often with derrogatory images of himself. He realized he could no longer be a part of the raids, and he needed to get his claws back.
