Once a companion to Alice Liddel, The Mad Hatter came into possession of her Lens after Nights invaded Wonderland, Alice's mirror realm. With the dreamer in peril, the Hatter took it upon himself to use eschamancy to kill Time within the mirror realm, though as he was a paracausal entity himself, his essence was eradicated. Owing to his unique circumstances, the Hatter's essence is irrecoverable by Zero, his death being noble, but final.
