Spirit

The Spirits of Eldoria are beings of natural magic and Essence itself, accumulated into a mass which can form into almost any creature. They wield various forms when summoned, usually challenging whoever summoned them in a variety of ways. Each and every Spirit expects the Summoner to prove their worth in trust, strength, and wit - in whatever way it suits the Spirit best. All Spirits are descendants of Lustro, the Spirit Mother. Few Spirits who’re far stronger than others wield the name Animus, which symbolises their higher degree in magic and immediate connection to Lustro. If a Spirit’s Summoner dies, they either can remain in their summoned state, roaming without a bond, or return to the Spirit Weave at will. While within their summoned state, they’re vulnerable to mortality, meaning their Essence can be destroyed.
