Jade Heart

The Jade Heart is the second haven within Eldoria, and is home to an abundance of various species, primarily known for being the home of the Fangs. The Lizardfolk also call this place home, while the Wisps task themselves with joy in aiding those welcome to the forest. Raptors take this place as their home too, and serve to help the Jade Guardians in protecting it. Deep within the depths of the Jade Heart is the Celestial Core, guarded by the Celestial of Jade.

Geography

The Jade Heart boasts a vastness of 729km2, with a wide variety of trees, from 26m tall to some even reaching 200m tall. Most of the forest's ground is flat, pathways reaching out to different glades, with the largest glade found at the centre - simply named the Central Glade. The Jade Heart connects to the Canyon of Flames through the Dividing Canyon, leading in a relatively straight-north path. In the deepest north reach of the Jade Heart is the Celestial Glade. From the west of the central glade is a swamp-like body of water.

Fauna & Flora

The trees of the forest are all the same, aside from their varying heights. Some parts of the forest consist of vastly different forms of thriving plant life compared to other areas within the forest. Grass never grows too tall in the forest, though large bushes are abundant in certain areas. Flowers only grow within the glades. The Wisps and Fangs are found almost anywhere within the Jade Heart, and the Wisps scout without any need for rest, while Fangs only know of this place to call home. In the swamp, Lizardfolk reside in huts propped above the water, while Raptors bound and play wherever they wish to go. Smaller endemics live throughout the forest too.
