Blight Dragon
The Blight Dragons were considered the most peculiar of all dragons, despite the fact that the way they look - besides their colours - are essentially the same as their fellow common dragons. Even then, these Blight Dragons were set aside from others and preferred to live similarly to the Verex – in isolation from all others within the Westside Mountains. The Blight Dragons lived much deeper within the mountain range than the Verex. Their scales always appeared dark and purple. A phenomenon amongst the Blight Dragons was lone whelp that was treated as an outcast even by the other Blight Dragons - one who’s scales were almost as black as the night’s sky. For the powers he held, he was expected to never be seen again, and forgotten. For years they prospered in their hiding, but one day they seemingly vanished, but not due to the Corrupt.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Blight Dragons are characterised commonly for their purple complexion, especially their scales. They're slim bodied compared to most other dragons and all stand on all fours. Much of the rest of their features will vary; horns, claws, teeth, wings, spikes, tail, and tail-tip.
Ecology and Habitats
When a Blight Dragon hatches, they wither the plant-life around them. Blight Dragons can adapt to almost any environment and/or climate, but will always seek a place where no other species exists, aside from endemics smaller than them for food.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Blight Dragons often are named in relation to the dark.
History
Blight Dragons were rarely ever seen, known to have lived in seclusion and to have always drived other species away from their own. It was sometime after the first Corruption outbreak that the Blight Dragons' number seemingly vanished.
