The Mistress

The Mistress is a blade demon of exceptional power and the original creator of Rawath. Very few denizens of Rawath know of The Mistress' existence, but many have actually met her. Few things are for known for certain about her, but anyone that mimics The Mistress, whether on purpose or not, is instantly destroyed by her own hand. Most of the things she does are either an experiment or for her own amusement. She once wrote and distributed a slice of life manga throughout sandpoint. It was somewhat popular for a while, and can still is found around from time to time.   On occasion she makes someone or something stronger to a random degree. These are marked with what is called "Mistress Influence" which is highly corrosive to anything overtly religious, from clerics to gods. Two of the most infamous examples of someone with Mistress Influence are Valing Rogers and Derrick Orion Gray. Valing Rogers was directly strengthened by The Mistress while Derrick Orion Gray was simply brought to Rawath.   The story of how The Mistress became so powerful begins with the 1000 strongest beings from across all realities. Being the most powerful of all meant being disliked by the other 999, who devised a plan to remove the strongest from the "number 1" spot. They decided to entirely convert themselves into the essence of pure power, and to then use that essence to form a prison to trap the strongest for all eternity. At this point in her life, The Mistress was no stronger than your average blade demon. During this intense ritual, The Mistress encountered a portal that brought her to the realty in which these beings could be found. The very first thing she noticed when she arrived was the flowing rivers of pure power. And so, the mistress did what blade demons do best. She went from one being to another, hijacking their flow of power; stealing all that they were sending out, and then all that they had left. She managed to take out the 456 weakest there before the rest had exhausted themselves into nothing. This was not without consequence however, as the prison for the 1 was improperly made, and he has been able to slowly weaken the walls of the prison, sending out small fragments of his power.
