Isalveara

Isalveara, also referred to as "The White Wolf", is a wolf beastkin with fur that is a silvery grey and is highly skilled with the double bladed sword. At over three hundred years old, she is an example of the phrase "you hunt monsters long enough you'll become one yourself". She was originally a bounty hunter that specialized in monsters that could only be harmed by certain materials such as silver. She was effective in this task because of her unique weapon, which was made from an alloy that contained many metals, allowing her to bypass the resistances of many monsters with just one weapon. It is said that throughout her hunts she started acting more savage and fighting with little regard to her well being. At around this point her companions discovered that she had taken on the resistance of the beasts they fought, and gained the ability to teleport short distances. Upon discovery of her new abilities it is said that she tore the hearts out of her companions and consumed them. She gained a beast-like cunning and used it to trick people into working with her, so that they may suffer the same fate as her early companions. Most people that attempt to kill her never return, and their heartless corpses are found scattered along woodland paths. The few that return tell tales of a slaughter where they never saw what attacked them, all they saw were their companions chests get torn open. Isalveara is highly dangerous and all attempts to take her out are only to be carried out by professionals.   In more modern times, Isalveara has gotten more reasonable and acts less like a beast, but her urge to consume peoples hearts doesn't fade. She is often the only survivor of monster hunting groups she goes in, either because of her resistance or the urge to eat their hearts. She also has taken an interest in alchemical resurrection, which is the process of using various mechanical parts and various alchemy to bring life to a corpse. She is nowhere near close to succeeding but is on the right track to replacing a heart.
