Lazav took control of House Dimir after the original guildmaster, Szadek, was killed. Lazav is a shapeshifter and great magic user, somehow sucking the magic of his surroundings into his very being. He adorns himself in the hide of an extinct beast, and not many know anything about him. For all anyone knows, Lazav is not even his true name or face.
