Personal history
The Obzedat is not a single entity. Rather, they are a Ghost Council comprising the Animarchs of major Orzhov families. Currently, five members sit the Obzedat: Enezesku, Fautomini, Karlov, Vuliev, and Xil Xaxosz. Their families wield the most influence within the Syndicate.

The members of the Obzedat are arguably the wealthiest beings in all of Ravnica. Their entire lives - and afterlives - have been dedicated to the acquisition and maintenance of wealth. The own hoards and troves around the world and manage extortionate shares of the largest businesses in the core.
