Finite Zones

Finite Zones (also known as Weird Space) are boundaries of land, sea, and/or air where the laws of physics do not function as they do 'normally' in the world around them. These zones are found across the verse, sparse and hard to tame, often with unique properties that differentiate them from other zones. They vary in size and in intensity. What makes them weird or bizarre varies, from the world being inverted to the weather being abstract to literal gaps in reality itself.
It is unknown why these zones exist, with some speculating that they are literal glitches in the coding of the multiverse itself. Others believe that they could be cursed boundaries left by long forgotten high-tier magic.

Non-Canon Appearance

From the pilot epilogue "Embers of the Future II" the 'Eternal Hollow' was introduced as the main setting, a location where way points within the area needed to be activated in order to escape the never-ending loop of space-time that turned the hollow into its own pocket-dimension bubble.
