Elemental Being

An Elemental Being, or rather Elemental Beings in general, are a type of race with many subsets set around the concept of the Elements of Nature. These 'Elemental Races' are a subset of people who are able to conjur, control, and in various cases become elements of nature itself. They are believed to have been, much like Zaherians, the product of magic mixed into genetic modification.   When born, an Elemental is not very different when compared to a standard being (human or otherwise). They are, however, born with the ability of a specific element given to them by blood. People of fire are born with the ability to call upon fire, people of water the waters, and so forth. Generally an Elemental will not achieve any aspect of their bloodline until they have been able to properly cull and control their power- first beginning with conjuring their own element. As they move into their teens they are then able to command and manipulate their element in the wild. And once an individual has exceptional practice they are then able to become their element.   Elementals that are able to fully become their element are essentially intangible people unless taken by surprise. This is not an ability that can be necessarily sealed or taken away, only suppressed. When intangible an Elemental is incapable of being damaged by anything short of their weakness, often a differing/opposite element.
