Pirate Raiders

Rumors swirl of a notorious pirate crew lurking in the nearby coves, preying on passing ships. The magistrate seeks brave adventurers to drive them off and recover stolen treasures.  

Act 1: Investigation and Preparation

  Upon hearing rumors of the notorious pirate crew, the adventurers are approached by Magistrate Marina Saltwater, who seeks their assistance in driving them off and recovering stolen treasures.

• Objective: Investigate the recent pirate attacks by gathering information from local fishermen, traders, and sailors who have encountered the pirates.
• Objective: Scout the nearby coves and coastal areas where the pirates are rumored to lurk, searching for signs of their presence and potential hideouts.

Optional: Secure additional support from the Fisherman's Guild or sympathetic villagers willing to aid in the fight against the pirates.

• Captian Alder or another local may be willing to provide a ship to travel on, for the right price, but he has no weapons aboard his own vessle. 

Outcome: The adventurers gather valuable intelligence on the pirates' activities and locations, preparing themselves for the upcoming confrontation.

Act 2: Confrontation and Recovery

  Armed with the information gathered in Act 1, the adventurers set out to confront the pirate crew and recover the stolen treasures.

• Objective: Engage in a skirmish with the pirates as they attempt to board a passing ship, thwarting their attempts to plunder and capturing their leader.
• Objective: Explore the pirate's hidden lair in the nearby coves, navigating treacherous traps and overcoming fierce resistance to recover the stolen treasures.

Outcome: The adventurers emerge victorious, driving off the pirate crew and recovering the stolen treasures, earning the gratitude of Magistrate Marina Saltwater and the admiration of the villagers. Their bravery and skill in confronting the pirates ensure the safety of passing ships and restore peace and prosperity to Port Calim's coastal waters.
