Good- 7-8
  • Find a small lumber jack camp, warm food and a bed for the night if they are willing to trade for it.
  • Make good time, reducing travel time by 1 day.
Neutral- 5-6
  • Dryad- CR 1, personification of the tree they are connected to, guardians of their forest. MM pg 121.
  • Treant- CR 9, sleeping trees awakened and given life, guardians and protectors of the wilds. MM pg 289
  • Fungi- plant growths that omit treacherous environmental hazards. MM pg 138
  • Myconids- CR 0-2, mushroom creatures, created by dead corpses being absorbed into the colony and remade. Mostly neutral creatures unless provoked. MM pg 230.
  • Centaur tribes- roaming wild horsemen, legendary druids and archers with a healthy distrust of outsiders and humans. 
Dangerous- 3-4
  • Owl Bear- CR 3, aggressive and unfearful predator, hunts at night, can possibly be trained with some difficulty. MM pg 249.
  • Wolves/Dire Wolves
  • Blights- CR ¼, ⅛, ½. Protectors of cursed forests, or underlings for an evil druid.
  • Gnolls- roaming nomadic packs, prey on settlements, savage and barbaric raiders that feast on dead. MM pg 163, VG pg 153.
  • Shambling Mound- Cr 5, feeds on any organic material it engulfs increasing its size, lays motionless in wait or oozes across the ground. Can come back if not destroyed properly. MM pg 270.
