Gladrian- Lions Den

City History, Culture, Trade and Description   An elvin styled fortress taken by the Talons from the Elves during the fall of their empire. This fortress contains a great library documenting the many trials and tribulations the Talons have faced, the orders history, and a volumes of books documenting every monster they have faced and artifact known, lost, or destroyed known by the Talons, as well as a large volume of elvin texts from before the Calamity.    Important Characters   Rancis- an older human male, he is stout, with cropped brown hair and large green eyes, and is missing his right arm. He wears worn leather armor and keeps a short sword at his side, but his days of fighting is long behind him. He was a paladin before having his arm torn off fighting a dragon, and was rescued by a Talon (dedrick, died some time ago). No longer able to fight, he felt indebted and followed dedrick as his second for many years. Now in his old age, he keeps and takes care of the Lionsden as best he can, and is highly revered and respected despite never becoming a Talon himself.    Hileon- a human man he is pleasant in appearance, with matted copper hair and hazel eyes. He is contemplative and strategic, choosing his words and actions carefully. He wears scale mail and wields a whip, dagger and buckler shield. He is the most senior Talon at Lions Den, and is a weretiger.    Arler is tall and willowy, with thick blonde hair and brown eyes, and a mechanical leg made of copper and bronze. A younger Talon at 67, he had his leg taken off by a hydra, and was forced to recover here. That was several years ago, but in his recovery he grew to love the books and volumes in the library, and is now the self appointed care taker of the tomes. He wears no armor instead preferring more comfortable common clothes and wields a shortsword. Arler has nearly memorized the manual of monsters, but is particularly fascinated by ghosts and spirits.   Local Quests   Notable Buildings   Forge- a large circular forge in the center of the courtyard where Talons can repair their tools.    Study- Located in the main keep, a large library of ancient tomes smelling of dust and old paper, with a few desks with oil lamps as the only source of light. The observant may notice a cot in one corner, where Arler often spends the nights reading.    Sleeping Quarters- Located on the second story of the main keep, a series of bunks in an open room, which doesn't allow for much privacy.    Other NPC’s   Raffin has blonde hair and bright blue eyes, and numerous distinctive scars. He wears a ragged cloak over his scared chest plate and wields a yari (spear) and sai (dagger).   Gileon has a round face, with uneven black hair and large blue eyes. He wears plate armor and wields a halberd. Gileon is inquisitive and aggressive in combat.
