Description, History, and Trade   Gaham, nestled in the heart of the Northern Wood, has a rich history rooted in the art of logging. Founded centuries ago by a group of skilled woodworkers and lumberjacks, the village was strategically placed near vast expanses of dense, frost-covered forests. The founders recognized the value of the towering evergreens that surrounded them, and their mastery in the art of logging became the cornerstone of Gaham's development.   Gaham appears as a picturesque village, its rustic charm accentuated by quaint wooden cottages nestled among the snow-laden trees. The air is filled with the scent of evergreen, and the distant sounds of axes and saws echo through the woods as villagers go about their daily tasks.   Village Leaders-

• Magistrate Elara Thorneheart- a wise and charismatic leader, known for her ability to bring the community together. With silver hair and a weathered face that tells tales of years spent guiding Gaham, Elara is respected for her fair decisions and dedication to preserving the village's traditions.
• Captain Aldred- a seasoned warrior and hunter with a grizzled beard and piercing eyes, commands the town guard with an iron fist. Ealdred is renowned for his hunting skills and legendary hunts that he helps orginize and lead. 
• Baron Thrain Raveloft and Baroness Lyra Raveloft- influential figures who control much of Gaham's logging industry. Thrain, with a strong build and a decisive demeanor, oversees the practical aspects of logging operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability. Lyra, an astute diplomat with a keen eye for trade, manages the relationships with external markets, securing Gaham's prominence in the timber trade.

Local Quests

• Baron and Baroness Ravenlofts son, Lucian, went missing over a year ago. Old posters are posted around the town with a reward asking for any information regarding what had happened to him and where he may be, or the traveling women who left around the same time as him (Tasha).
• Several timbercutters have reported strange occurrences deep in the enchanted forest, causing delays in the timber supply. The village needs someone to investigate the mysterious happenings and ensure the safety of the workers.
• Tensions have risen between Gaham's artisans and the Raveloft Trading Emporium over pricing and contracts. The village leaders want to resolve the dispute amicably to maintain a harmonious community.

Timberstrand District:

• Description: This district forms the heart of Gaham's logging industry, with rows of sawmills and timber yards. • Ravenloft Timberworks: Run by Barron Raveloft, this prominent workshop specializes in crafting exquisite wooden artifacts imbued with the magic of Gaham's enchanted forest. From furniture to intricate charms, Thorneheart's Timberworks is a must-visit for those seeking quality craftsmanship.

Raveloft Heights:

• Description: Perched on a hill overlooking Gaham, Raveloft Heights is where the residences of Baron Thrain Raveloft and Baroness Lyra Raveloft stand. The district exudes an air of affluence, with well-maintained estates and a clear view of the sprawling forest below.
• Raven's Perch Inn: A tavern and inn catering to travelers and traders, the Raven's Perch Inn offers accommodations and simple but delicious locla foods. Managed by the Raveloft family, it serves as a meeting place for business dealings and a favorite meeting place for the village.

NPC's

• Gideon- a charismatic and flamboyant individual who serves as the town crier. With a flair for the dramatic, Gideon announces important events, news, and proclamations in the central marketplace. Clad in colorful attire, he captivates the attention of villagers and visitors alike. Despite his theatrical persona, Gideon is well-informed and plays a crucial role in keeping the community connected.
• Lars- a sturdy man with calloused hands from years of hard labor in the Timberstrand District. He spends his days felling trees, processing timber, and ensuring the smooth operation of the sawmills. Lars is a reliable and down-to-earth worker, respected by his peers for his work ethic and commitment to providing quality timber for the village.
• Owen- a skilled craftsman in Timberstrand District, crafting everyday items from the enchanted timber of Gaham's forests. From simple furniture to practical tools, Owen's Woodworks provides essential items for villagers.
